About Beeb

"The Art Of Confusion"

from the Thomas Edison of 420

Bradley Bann aka The Beeb aka Beeb Marcos instigated hilarious escapades that were commonplace in Marin County, just north of San Francisco, in the late 60's and early 70's.

Beeb, who conceived the iconic number, 420 in October of 1970, was a teenage serial prankster, pre-dating the Jerky Boys by well over a decade, and was a certified true life "Ferris Bueller on Steroids".

Beeb was the "Entertainment Capital
of His Neighborhood." He was utterly fearless when it came to initiating and perpetrating "harmless pranks without conscience." From the hometown radio station in San Rafael to the neighborhood golf course, from the movie theater to the grocery store, from the high school to... well, just about anywhere, really - Beeb's antics mesmerized friends and confounded the ordinary citizens who were the unwitting participants for the amusement of he and his friends.

Beeb was a master of improvisation, especially on the telephone - where he caught unsuspecting people completely off guard with his unusual wit, fake names, never-ending intentional confusion, using an array of funny characters and voices.

He was simultaneously daring and casual, always at ease even in the most outrageous circumstances. Beeb's boldness was based on his belief that he could get away with just about anything because, in his words, "Adults never paid the slightest attention to what kids were doing or saying when we were growing up".

"I don't often indulge in herb, but when I do, I prefer superb 420"- Stay confusing my friends".
